I didn't have high hopes for this place. This place was supposed to be good because of the 4.5 star reviews right?
WRONG it was REALLY GOOD.
All jokes aside the food was great, fast and comfortable service, and a clean atmosphere.
The french toast is a must-try, covered with whipped cream and fresh fruit, but still somehow toasty and flavourfull. Our server was really nice and brought our food out quick; the place was not very busy at the time.
The experience, food and service was satisfying. The food is worth the price, which itself is very reasonable for a nice lunch with friends. My friends and I agreed to come back some other time for a catch up session. I recommend you do so to! -

Oldwest Cafe is good but it's definitely the last place I want to go for breakfast. I know I'm in the minority but I have been several times and I find it.....average. For one the space is too small for how many customers they pack in. Last time I was there I was just crammed up against another table. No thanks. A dining experience should be comfortable.
The food is good. No complaints really but it's not amazing or life changing. I mean eggs are eggs here. This place is known to be busy and I'm glad the do a lot of business but for me the place is just too congested.
Last time I went I think I got the Six Shooter. It was forgettable. That may sound harsh and I'm not insulting the food or anything it was as I mentioned before...average. -

Great atmosphere, friendly service, and good food. There was a wait, which always tells me there's something special happening there. The decor here is pretty cool...lots of detail.
The chicken fried steak was crispy, good flavor on the gravy. The hash brown casserole was basically just hash browns with cheddar cheese on top. They might want to consider adding some onions and peppers to that if they're calling it a casserole. Nothing too special about it. The Vaquero Skillet was tasty, but nothing incredibly spectacular.
They appeared that have a pretty sweet coffee bar, though we didn't try it. Might have to be back to give that a shot! Overall, pleasant experience! -

Breakfast is great however, they have no avocado. I know many people would not expect avocado however, they have many Mexican breakfast type options and when I have those I want avocado to go with it. If your looking for a good breakfast though this place is great. I do wish it was a little brighter inside because it feels a bit dark. Great options just wish they had avocado

The service and table size was subpar. Table of 5 seated at a small booth, we had NO wiggle room. The waiter did NOT know what he was doing. But the food?! Good gravy the food saved the day. The queso should be offered on EVERYTHING. The sauce is the boss for sure. Plain Pancakes were nothing special, but the omelets, chicken fried steak, burritos, etc are ALLL on point. Go here. Wait it out, and ENJOY!
